The Nature Carnival 2011 was organized by the WWF on 13th Feb. 2011 at the Race Course Park. The Primary Section Shalimar Campus I and Shalimar campus II won the 1st prize on the topic “In campus Personalized Plantation and Adopt a Tree, Building of Bird Refuge in School”. The Primary Section Shalimar Campus I and Shalimar campus III won the 1st prize on the topic “Fresh Water Conservation Green Idea”. The Secondary Sections of the Alhamra Town Campus also won the 1st prize on the topic “Reduction of Carbon Foot Print of a School e.g. energy efficient classrooms, use of electronic appliances, paper use etc”. The Secondary Sections of the Daroghawala Campus won the 3rd prize on the topic “Energy Conservation —–Alternative Energy (Solar Bio gas)”. The Laurelbank School System won a trophy for being 2nd in the overall presentations.
